It was brought up to attention of Department in Spring 2018 that there is a problem with this class, Department didn't do anything to resolve this issue. Even thought you might think that it was a good opportunity, 5 people passed with D grades and highest grade was C. On the Final exam he decided to give students a take-home exam which worse 90% of the total grade and amount of time he gave was 20 hours. On the midterm in Spring 2018, average score was 1 point out of 30, because half of the students got 0 and top score was 4-5 points, therefore for obvious reasons around 30 people withdraw from his class. To make long story short, there is a Semiconductors class which is prerequisite for Senior Design class, and certain Prof started teaching this class from Spring 2018, capacity of this is 60 people, back then we new about this Prof and his teaching style which he was famous for.

Despite raising our objections against problems in Class, there is no change in the resolution that was provided by the Engineering School. We will do anything in our power to get our point across.
We have no more patience and have nothing to lose. We have taken all the necessary steps to inform the administration on each level. However, the discussion with the Engineering and Electrical Engineering administration was ultimately meaningless as our suggestions were evidently not heard. Update for January 16: We tried so hard to find a solution to this problem for the past month and we had very high hopes especially after meeting with the President of University yesterday. We can't tell the whole story about that, we just need an advice from you guys, what we can do? Any legal steps, academic,all kind of advises, we need to graduate, but because of this Prof and Department, 100 students can't graduate on time. There are a lot of problems with that class and this Prof, because this class doesn't follow the curriculum which is on the website, it's called "Semiconductors and Materials" but Prof changed it into "Advanced Quantum Mechanics", and whole class is ended up with zero knowledge about Semiconductors. Unfortunately, they told us that can't do anything about that. On a Final exam, non of us could solve more than 1 problem out of 10 given, and we ended up by giving us "INC" grade, 53 students got incomplete grade, and Prof offered us make-up exam in the middle of January, which is our break time, all of the students met with Chairman of Department to resolve this issue, we were denied for any help, we had an official meeting with the Dean of Engineering School to address our issues, all students from Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 came to that meeting, number of students were about 100 people. Here is a current situation, I am as a student of Fall 2018, took this class with this Prof, and news are not good, whole class failed the midterm, and were studying like we never did before, 5 hours a day + tutoring section 2 days a week.
